Rural life Heritage Collection

Welcome to the Antico Molino Patregnani in Corinaldo, run by the social promotion association Il Molino Racconta. Through the rooms of this Rural life heritage collection we will be able to take a journey back in time, thanks to the display of objects and working tools in the original rooms once used for production activities (mill and oil mill) that will tell us many interesting trivia.
It is a complex of rooms in which the various parts date back to different periods: from its founding in the 12th century, to the arrival of the Patregnani family in the 1920s who ran it until the 1990s.
Coming to the present day, starting in 2011, the recovery of what had been abandoned after the end of production activity began.
Both the interior and exterior were cleaned up and reconfigured, setting up the spaces with family items and equipment, numerous tree species were planted and the gravel road made it possible to create the first section of bicycle and pedestrian path to which municipal trails were later added.
The Molino Racconta association has promoted cultural events, book presentations, meetings, children’s activities, workshops, visits for school groups and tourist groups over the years.
Adults and children have had the opportunity to learn about aspects of daily and working life of a world that is now past but represents our history and roots. They also had a chance to enjoy the peaceful countryside and take a walk or ride by bike along our path.
